A few things to consider

Just a reminder that a high student attendance rate has a direct correlation to increased levels of learning and contributes to a positive school climate. Please reinforce with your children that school attendance should be a top priority with the reasonable exceptions of illness and family emergencies. I ask that you keep this in mind when scheduling family vacations and appointments for your child so that students can attend the maximum days possible and stay in school the entire day.

Being on time is important. When students are chronically late to class, they’ll experience a wide range of problems. First and foremost, students will miss information that’s shared at the beginning of class. Students are unable to complete assignments in a timely manner and struggle to keep up through the rest of the class. Please make sure our students arrive on time.

Communication is everything. Please visit and use the drop-down parent menu to access Powerschool’s Parent Portal. Here you can see your child’s grades, attendance, and other important information.  If you are unsure how to log in or need help navigating, please never hesitate to call. In addition, we actively post on our Facebook page, please look here for the most up to date information about the school and follow us.

If you have any questions, I have an open-door policy please stop in or contact our office at (856) 456-7000, ext. 4008. Best wishes for a safe and successful school year. I can’t wait to meet you at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18th at our Back to School Night!

As always, Go Lions!
